Women’s History Month Adult Book Spotlight!

This week, we continue to celebrate Women’s History month with “Eleanor” by David Michaels. The book explores the life of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, from her orphan beginnings to becoming the wife of Franklin Roosevelt, a First Lady, and finally a U.S. delegate to the United Nations. Drawing upon new research, Michaels’ biography paints a fascinating portrait of the personal and public life of this strong-willed humanitarian, activist, advocate, and leader. Not only did she take a more serious role as First Lady, she continued to promote human rights throughout the world long after her tenure as First Lady.
